Introduction to Plan21 Flush

Working Principle
The Plan21 system works by diverting the pump's discharge medium through a flow restrictor and cooler. This process limits flow, reduces pressure and lowers temperature before the medium enters the seal chamber. This action cools and lubricates the mechanical seal, prevents medium vaporization, and vents air and steam from the seal chamber, thereby enhancing seal reliability and service life.
Applicable Conditions
Plan21 is suitable for clean, non-polymerizing media. It increases steam vaporization margin, meets temperature limits of secondary sealing elements, reduces coking or polymerization, improves seal lubricity, and minimizes flashing, gas introduction (in vacuum conditions), cavitation, dry running, high temperature, and corrosive media situations.
